Shipping Destinations:
The Company currently ships furniture exclusively within the Netherlands. We do not offer international shipping at this time.

Shipping Methods:
We offer one shipping method the standard shipping methods to accommodate customer preferences.

Shipping Costs:
Shipping costs are all inclusive. Shipping costs will be displayed before finalizing your purchase.

Order Processing Time:
Once an order is placed and payment is received, the Company will process the order for shipment. The estimated processing time for each product is provided on the product page and is between 1-3 days. Please note that processing times may vary depending on the specific item and its availability.

Delivery Times:
Delivery times will depend on the shipping method chosen and the destination address. The Company aims to deliver products in a timely manner within 1-3 days, but please allow for potential delays beyond our control. Please keep in mind public holidays might extend the shipping time.

Tracking Orders:
Customers will receive a tracking number once their order has been shipped. This allows customers to monitor the status and location of their delivery.

Delivery Requirements:
Customers should ensure that someone is present to receive the delivery during the scheduled delivery window. For larger furniture items, our white-glove delivery service may require additional coordination.

Shipping Damage:
In the rare event that an item arrives damaged during shipping, customers should contact our customer support team immediately for assistance. We may require photographic evidence of the damage to initiate a return or replacement.

Tax Policy
Tax Collection:
Short Stay Houses  (hereafter “the Company”) is based in the Netherlands and is required to collect Value Added Tax (VAT) on all orders shipped within the Netherlands.

VAT Rates:
The standard VAT rate in the Netherlands is 21% for furniture. This rate will be applied to all eligible products in your order.

VAT Exemptions:
Certain products or customers may be eligible for VAT exemptions under Dutch tax laws. If you believe your purchase qualifies for a VAT exemption, please contact our customer support team for assistance.

VAT Invoices:
The Company will provide a detailed invoice for every order, including a breakdown of VAT charges.

Warranty Policy
Limited Warranty Coverage:
Short Stay Houses (hereafter “the Company”) stands behind the quality of our products. We offer a limited warranty of 2-3 years on all our products, beginning from the date of purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and issues related to product quality.

What’s Covered:
The warranty covers manufacturing defects that occur during the normal use of our furniture products. This includes defects in materials and workmanship.

What’s Not Covered:
The warranty does not cover damage or issues caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, alterations, natural wear and tear, or any other factors beyond manufacturing defects.

Warranty Claims:
To initiate a warranty claim, customers must provide proof of purchase, including the order number and purchase date. Please contact our customer support team to begin the warranty claim process.

Resolution of Warranty Claims:
If a valid warranty claim is approved, the Company will, at its discretion, repair, replace, or refund the defective product. The Company will cover the cost of repair or replacement, including shipping, within the Netherlands.

Warranty Exclusions:
The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the product. It does not cover products sold by unauthorized resellers.

Limitation of Liability:
The Company’s liability under this warranty is limited to the repair, replacement, or refund of the defective product. The Company will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the product.

Changes to Warranty Terms:
The Company reserves the right to update or modify the terms of this warranty policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website.
