Short Stay Houses was born from the personal experience of founder Kristien van Elteren. During her many years of international business travel, she found that “short stays” rarely offered the temporary feeling of home she was looking for.

So she decided to create it herself and has been doing so successfully for over 12 years. Today, Short Stay Houses provides tailored housing solutions for (international) clients, with serviced apartments located in Amsterdam South.

Our serviced apartments combine a boutique-style experience with all-inclusive comfort, including weekly housekeeping, private parking, and attentive service, with the aim of offering affordable rentals.

We focus on those in need of temporary housing; international business travellers, relocation clients, and people whose own homes are undergoing renovations.
